The aims of PlayDays are to provide affordable, accessible quality childcare, creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where each child can develop their potential, whilst becoming independent and active learners.
We aim to provide clear boundaries in terms of acceptable behaviour, develop children’s moral understanding and use encouragement and praise as rewards for good behaviour. We strive to build each child’s self-esteem together with mutual care and respect for others.
We provide a full day nursery, wrap around care, playgroup sessions, afterschool club and holiday playscheme through the medium of English and Welsh.
Our setting is run by a professional team of qualified and motivated staff whose intentions are to provide the best care for your child/ren
The care we provide is of the highest standards and fully complies with all legislation and guidelines set by the Care Inspectorate Wales.
Whilst in our care your child/ren will receive as much care and attention as you would expect to find at home. We hope that your child/ren will have a positive experience at PlayDays and will adapt our daily activities to suit the individual child’s specific needs.

When we talk about play, people naturally think about young children, however all children and young people should have the opportunity to play every day.
Play is important for the early stages of brain development and playing with your child can help build relationships for later life. But no matter what age we are, play helps to develop important skills for learning, life and work.
